Postify’s social media MCP server gives your AI assistant secure access to your Postify account, so it can create posts, schedule content, read analytics, and manage profiles across nine platforms on your behalf.
- Which AI assistants work with Postify’s MCP server?
- Any MCP-compatible client works with Postify, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and custom agent frameworks that support Server-Sent Events (SSE) connections. You add the Postify server URL to your client, sign in once through a secure OAuth login, and your assistant can then manage your social profiles.
- Can my AI schedule posts to Instagram or TikTok through MCP?
- Yes. Through Postify’s MCP server your AI assistant can draft, schedule, edit, and publish posts to all nine Postify platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, X, Pinterest, and Plative. Every action runs through your own Postify account with the same permissions and limits as the dashboard.
- How do I connect Claude to Postify?
- Add Postify as a connector in Claude using the server URL https://api.postify.tech/v1/mcp/sse, or install it from Smithery. Claude then asks you to log in to Postify once, and from that point you can say things like “schedule a post for tomorrow at 5pm” directly in chat.
- Does Postify post content on its own?
- No. Postify never generates or publishes anything by itself. Your own AI assistant, following your instructions, uses the MCP server to act on your Postify account, and you stay in control of every profile, permission, and scheduled post. Disconnecting the MCP client immediately ends that access.
- Is the MCP server secure?
- Yes. The MCP connection authorizes through OAuth against Postify’s API, so your social network credentials are never shared with the AI client. The assistant only receives scoped access to the Postify account you approve, and you can revoke that access at any time from your account settings.
