Free 30 Day Content Calendar Generator

Pick your industry and how often you want to post, and get a 30 day social media content calendar with a pillar, a format and a written prompt on every posting day. Five posts a week fills 22 of the 30 days.

Last updated: 2026-08-03

The hard part of posting consistently is almost never the posting. It is opening an empty composer on a Tuesday morning with no idea what today is supposed to be, deciding that you will think of something later, and then not thinking of something later. A month of that is how a feed goes quiet, and it happens to accounts with plenty to say.

A calendar fixes it by making the decision once instead of thirty times. This generator rotates five content pillars, Educate, Engage, Showcase, Social proof and Promote, across a pool of topics for your industry. Each pillar owns one format, so a carousel day never lands next to another carousel day, and the promote slot arrives once every five posts instead of whenever you happen to feel like selling something.

Pick an industry, pick three, five or seven posts a week, and the whole month comes out at once: a weekday, a pillar, a format and a written prompt for every posting day, with the rest days left visibly empty so a lighter cadence looks like a plan rather than a gap. The generator is deterministic, so the same two choices always produce the same calendar, and the 30 day version we email you is built by the same generator you just ran in your browser.

Build your 30 day calendar

Two choices decide the whole month: the topic pool the prompts are written around, and how many days of the week carry a post.

Picking a network only renames the formats so they match what that app calls them. The pillars, the rotation and the prompts are the same on all eight.

Pick an industry and a cadence, then generate your first week.

A full sample week with the real prompts is printed further down this page, so you can read what the generator produces without generating anything at all.

The 5 content pillars

Every posting day in the calendar belongs to one of these five pillars, and each pillar owns one format. That pairing is what keeps a month varied without anyone having to think about variety: the rotation cannot put two carousels back to back, and it cannot let three weeks go by without a customer story. The example under each pillar is the exact prompt the generator produces for a fitness account, so you can see the shape before you generate your own.

1

Educate

Carousel

Earns the saves and the shares. A post that teaches something small and complete is the one people send to a colleague, and it is the reason a stranger follows you rather than just liking one thing.

Example prompt: Break down strength training basics into five steps a beginner can follow today

2

Engage

Text post

Earns the replies. Asking a real question and answering every response is the cheapest reach you will ever get, because a live comment thread keeps a post circulating long after the feed would have dropped it.

Example prompt: Ask which part of home workouts your audience finds hardest and reply to every answer

3

Showcase

Short video

Earns the trust. Showing the work being done, in your hands, in your space, is what separates an account that talks about a subject from one that clearly does it for a living.

Example prompt: Film a 30 second walkthrough of how you handle mobility drills start to finish

4

Social proof

Single image

Earns the belief. Your own claim about your results is marketing; a customer making the same claim is evidence, and it is the post a hesitant buyer goes looking for before they message you.

Example prompt: Post a customer quote about protein and recovery next to the result they got

5

Promote

Story

Earns the money. One post in five asks for something directly, which is often enough to sell and rare enough that nobody mutes you for it.

Example prompt: Announce your offer and tie it to the running form problem it solves

A sample week, exactly as the generator writes it

Week one for a general or mixed account posting five times a week. Nothing here is paraphrased for the page: this is the output of the same function the tool runs in your browser and the same one that writes the calendar we email you.

How the rotation works

Three moving parts and no randomness. The pillars cycle, the topics cycle at a different length, and the wording steps forward each time the pillars come back around.

The pillar cycle

Posting days take the 5 pillars in order and start again: Educate, Engage, Showcase, Social proof, Promote. Rest days are skipped entirely, so dropping from seven posts a week to three does not break the sequence, it only stretches it over more calendar days.

The topic pool

Each industry has 8 topics, and every posting day takes the next one. Because 8 and 5 share no factors, a pillar does not meet the same topic again for 40 posts, which is longer than the calendar. That is why the month never repeats itself.

The wording

Every pillar holds 6 prompt templates. Each full pass through the pillars moves to the next template, so the second Educate carousel of your month asks for a different kind of post than the first, not the same one with a new topic.

prompt = pillar[slot mod 5].template[slot div 5 mod 6] with topic[slot mod 8]

There is no clock and no random seed anywhere in that line, which has a useful consequence: the same industry and the same cadence always produce the identical 30 days. Generate it today, generate it again in March, ask us to email it, and you get the same calendar every time. The 30 days that land in your inbox are that same rotation run to the end, not a different plan written somewhere else.

What each cadence fills

Day 1 is always a Monday, so a 30 day block finishes on a Tuesday and the posting days land like this.

The 13 topic pools

Making a content calendar survive contact with a real month

  • Batch by format, not by day. Every carousel in the month is one Educate sitting, every clip is one Showcase sitting. Filming five short videos back to back takes about as long as filming two on separate afternoons, because the setup is what costs you, not the shooting.
  • Repurpose one prompt across networks instead of writing four. A Showcase clip is a Reel, a Short and a TikTok with three different captions, and the Educate carousel becomes a LinkedIn document and a thread on X. Write the idea once, then rewrite only the first line for each network.
  • Break the plan on purpose when something real happens. A launch, an outage, a customer story that lands in your inbox on a Wednesday: post it, and push the scheduled prompt to the next open slot. A calendar exists to make the quiet weeks easy, not to outrank news.
  • Tag every post with its pillar and read your results by pillar after a month. Most accounts find that one pillar carries the reach and another carries the replies. When you know which is which, you stop treating a low-comment Educate carousel as a failure and start using each pillar for the job it actually does.
  • Rewrite the topic in your own language before you publish. The topic pool is a starting structure, and the version that works is the one where you swap in the exact question a customer asked you last week. Keep the pillar and the format, change the words.
  • Leave the Promote slot at one in five. It is tempting to convert an Engage day into a second offer post during a launch week, and the accounts that do it every week are the ones whose reach quietly collapses. If you need more promotion, add a story or a link in the caption of a post that earns its place on its own.

Frequently asked questions

How is the content calendar generated?

By rotation, not by AI. Five content pillars each own one post format and one set of six hand-written prompt templates. Walking through the month, every posting day takes the next pillar in the cycle and the next topic from your industry pool, and the prompt is that pillar template with your topic substituted into it. Nothing is generated by a language model and nothing is random, so the same industry and cadence always produce the same 30 days.

Can I change the posting days?

Not inside the tool, but the grid is simple enough to shift by hand. Three a week is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Five a week is Monday to Friday. Seven a week is every day. Day 1 is always a Monday, so if you start the plan on a Wednesday, day 1 becomes your Wednesday and everything moves with it. The order of the pillars is what matters, not the weekday names.

Do I need to give my email to use it?

No, not to use it. The first week of your calendar generates on the page with no address at all, and a full sample week with real prompts is printed further down whether you generate anything or not. Days 8 to 30 unlock when you ask us to email them, and the emailed calendar is built by the same generator, from the same pillars and the same topics, so there is nothing behind the form that is not already on the page.

Which industries are covered?

Thirteen: general or mixed, beauty, fashion, fitness, food and beverage, travel, tech and SaaS, ecommerce, education, finance, health and wellness, media and entertainment, and real estate. Each one has eight topics written for it, and general or mixed is the fallback if none of the other twelve fits. If your niche sits between two of them, generate both and take the prompts you like from each.

Does it work for more than one social network?

Yes. The plan is network agnostic, and picking a network only renames the formats so they match what that app calls them, a short video becoming a Reel on Instagram or a Short on YouTube. The pillars, the rotation, the topics and the prompts are identical either way, which is what makes one calendar usable across every account you run.

Is anything stored?

Only if you ask for the emailed calendar. The generator runs entirely in your browser, and your industry and cadence are not sent anywhere while you click around. If you request the report we receive your email address, the industry and cadence you picked and which page you were on, so we can send it and know which tool produced it. Marketing email is a separate checkbox that starts unticked.
