How each tool charges you

Planable charges per workspace in US dollars, and every plan includes unlimited users. Basic is $32.50 per workspace per month billed yearly and Pro is $49.17. Each workspace has a post cap and a page limit: 60 posts and 4 social pages on Basic, 150 posts and 10 pages on Pro.

Postify charges per plan in euros, with a set number of brand profiles and users. Hobby costs €9.99 per month for 1 brand profile, 1 user and 15 posts per month, without the inbox. Plans go up to Agency at €199.94 per month for 15 profiles and 12 users, and from Starter up there is no monthly post cap.

Large teams that publish modest volumes usually pay less on Planable, because seats are free. Small teams that publish a lot usually hit Planable's caps first.

Approvals: Planable's home ground

Approvals are the center of Planable. Basic lets you make approval optional, Pro can make it required and adds bulk approval, and Enterprise adds multi-level approvals. Its mobile app lets reviewers approve on the go.

Postify has no internal approval chain. What it offers, on Pro and Agency, is a per-post client link: the client sees the post and can Accept or Reject it, and you can hold publishing until they accept. Clients cannot leave comments on that page.

If your process involves several reviewers, legal checks or rounds of feedback inside the tool, Planable is the better fit, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

Post caps and the X limit

Planable counts posts per workspace per month. Pro can raise its 150-post cap to 500 with an add-on at $49 per month. The Free plan is 50 posts in total, not per month.

X is restricted further down: Basic publishes at most 1 X post per 24 hours, and the Free plan cannot publish to X. For teams that post threads or several updates a day, that is a hard stop.

Postify caps only its entry plan, at 15 posts per profile per month on Hobby. Starter and every higher plan have no monthly cap, and X is included on all of them.

Analytics and inbox: included or add-on

On Basic and Pro, Planable sells Analytics ($14 per workspace per month) and Social Inbox ($9 per workspace per month) separately. Both are included in Enterprise, and each add-on can be tested free for 30 days.

Postify includes post and profile analytics on every plan, with PDF and scheduled email reports. The inbox starts on Plus and covers comments on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube plus Facebook and Instagram DMs, with comment-to-DM automations.

Coverage differs: Planable's inbox includes TikTok Business comments, which Postify does not handle. Postify adds Threads and YouTube comments, which Planable's list does not show.

Publishing details that differ

Planable publishes Instagram Stories directly only when they have no stickers, links or interactive elements, and only after you enable direct Stories in page settings. Otherwise it sends a notification to the mobile app. TikTok goes direct for Business accounts or through the TikTok inbox or the app.

Postify publishes Instagram and Facebook Stories through the API and has no notification path on any network. It also posts first comments on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X from the Plus plan up.

Postify has its own limits: YouTube uploads stop at 180 seconds, Facebook videos at 90 seconds, and Google Business Profile is not supported. Planable publishes YouTube videos and Shorts and supports Google Business Profile.

Migration checklist

Export your Planable posts to CSV (all pages) or PDF (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X). Postify has no import, so the CSV becomes your rebuild list.
Use "Export data" in your Planable profile settings for anything else you want to keep. On Free, Basic and Pro, published posts are archived after a year and deleted 30 days later.
Decide how sign-off will work. Required or multi-level approvals cannot be reproduced in Postify; the per-post client Accept or Reject link (Pro and Agency) covers single-client sign-off only.
Map each Planable workspace to a Postify brand profile, then count people: unlimited Planable users become a fixed number of Postify seats (1 to 12 by plan, more can be bought from Starter up).
Time the cancellation. Annual Planable plans keep access to the end of the term, and refunds are only given within 14 days of a first purchase or an annual renewal.
Reconnect each network in Postify and publish one test post per network before your Planable access ends.
