TikTok Bio Generator
TikTok gives you 80 characters. That is one sentence, so it has to be the right one. Pick your industry and a tone, get three bios that already fit, and the full 25 bio pack by email.

Eighty characters is not a short bio, it is a headline. Instagram allows 150 and TikTok allows 80, and the gap between those two numbers is the difference between a bio that can name what you do and who it is for, and a bio that gets to make exactly one claim. Almost every bad TikTok bio is an Instagram bio that was pasted in and then hacked at until it fit, which is why so many of them end mid thought.
The right approach is to start from the constraint rather than fight it. Pick the single thing you want to be known for, write it as one sentence a stranger could repeat back to you, and stop. Every bio this generator produces was written to that rule, not trimmed down to it: the TikTok template set is a completely separate set of strings from the Instagram one, because an 80 character bio has room for one claim and the sentence has to be built that way from the start.
The bio is also search text. TikTok search is a genuine discovery surface rather than a convenience feature, and profiles surface in it, so the words in your bio and your name are part of how somebody looking for what you do actually finds you. That does not mean stuffing keywords into 80 characters. It means that when you have a choice between a clever phrase and the plain word a person would type, the plain word usually wins, and the clever phrase belongs in a video instead.
One more thing shapes what a TikTok bio can do: the clickable website field is not available to every account. Plenty of profiles have no link at all, which is why so many TikTok bios spell out a handle, an email or a plain domain as text instead. Write the bio so it still works without a tappable link, and treat the link as an upgrade rather than the plan. Everything here is editorial, written from public bio conventions on TikTok, and every generated bio fits the 80 characters without truncation.
Write your TikTok bio
Two choices decide the wording: the topic pool the sentences are written around, and the voice you want them said in. The character ceiling is fixed by the network, not by you.
Clear and credible. Says what you do, who it is for, and what to do next.

80 characters, and what that actually buys you
The two networks this generator covers give you very different amounts of room, and the gap is the reason the two template sets are separate rather than shared. An Instagram bio shortened until it fits TikTok reads like a sentence that got cut off, because that is exactly what it is.
| Network | Bio limit | What fits |
|---|---|---|
| 150 characters | Room for what you do, who it is for, and one next step. Three short lines fit, but the line breaks are part of the budget. | |
| TikTok | 80 characters | Room for one claim. Not a shortened version of three, one: pick the single thing you want to be known for and spend the whole field on it. |

The rest of the profile
Two things shape what a TikTok bio can do. The first is search: TikTok returns profiles as well as videos, so the plain words for what you do are worth more in the field than a stylised version of them, and one ordinary phrase beats three crammed keywords at this length. The second is the link: the clickable website field is not available on every account, so plenty of profiles have none at all. Write the bio so it still works with no tappable link, spell the destination out in words if it genuinely matters, and treat the link as an upgrade rather than the plan.
The same fitness account in all three tones
Nothing below is written for this page. These are the first 3 bios the generator produces for a fitness account on TikTok in each tone, with the character count each one lands on. The tone changes the voice, not the facts, and picking one is mostly a question of which version you would be willing to say out loud.

Every one of those numbers is under the ceiling, and that is a property of the templates rather than something trimmed at the last moment. The generator never truncates, because a bio cut mid word is worse than no bio, so the whole 25 bio pack for any of the 13 industries fits the field it was written for.
Templates are editorial, written to the character limits each network enforced when this page was last reviewed on 2026-08-06. Every generated bio fits without truncation, but the limits are the platform: if a network changes one, this page changes with it.
Getting more out of 80 characters
- Make one claim, not three. Eighty characters is roughly one sentence, and the bios that read well spend all of it saying a single thing clearly rather than fitting three fragments in with commas between them.
- Use the words a person would search. TikTok profiles surface in search, so a bio containing the plain description of what you do is doing quiet work every day, while a bio built entirely out of an inside joke is doing none.
- Count the emoji. At 80 characters an emoji is an expensive decoration, and two of them can be the difference between a sentence that fits and one that gets cut. If a symbol replaces a word, keep it. If it decorates one, drop it.
- Do not write the bio around a link you may not have. The website field is not on every account, so a bio whose whole call to action is the word below fails silently for anyone who cannot see a link. Put the destination in words if it matters.
- Let the videos carry the personality. On Instagram the bio does more of the work because the grid is quiet. On TikTok a visitor arrives having already watched something of yours, so the bio only has to confirm what they just worked out.
- Check the bio on a phone, not on the desktop site. The profile layout is narrower than you think and a bio that fits in the field can still wrap awkwardly, which is worth the ten seconds it takes to look.
Frequently asked questions
How many characters can a TikTok bio be?
Eighty, which is roughly one sentence. It is a hard ceiling: the field stops accepting input rather than truncating what you wrote, so a bio pasted in from somewhere longer simply arrives cut off at the wrong place. Every bio this generator produces is inside 80 characters for the industry you picked, and the tool shows the count next to each one.
Why is the TikTok bio limit so much shorter than Instagram?
Because the two profiles do different jobs. An Instagram profile is often the first thing a stranger sees, so the bio has to introduce the account from scratch inside 150 characters. A TikTok visitor almost always arrives from a video they already watched, so the bio is a confirmation rather than an introduction, and 80 characters is enough to confirm something. It does mean an Instagram bio cannot be reused here, which is why the template sets are separate rather than shared.
Can I put a link in my TikTok bio?
Only if your account has the website field, and not every account does. Where it exists it is a single clickable link and it behaves like the Instagram one, so point it at one destination rather than a list. Where it does not exist yet, write the destination out as plain text, and remember that a written address cannot be tapped, so it has to be short enough to remember or type.
Do keywords in a TikTok bio help me get found?
Plain words help, keyword stuffing does not. TikTok search returns profiles as well as videos, and the text on your profile is part of what it matches against, so using the ordinary phrase somebody would type is worth more than a stylised version of it. Cramming three keywords into 80 characters produces a bio that reads like a search query and convinces nobody who lands on it, which costs you the follow you were trying to earn.
What should a TikTok bio actually say?
What you post about, and who it is for, in one sentence. That is the whole brief at this length. The tone is where the room is: the same fact can be said as a credential, as a friendly aside, or as a challenge, and the three tones in this generator exist to show you the same claim in all three voices before you pick one.
Do I get the full 25 bio pack?
Yes, by email. The three bios on the page, the character counts and the comparison below are free with no address. The complete 25 bio pack for your industry and tone unlocks when you ask us to send it, and every bio in the emailed pack is built from the same template table and fits the same 80 characters.
