Publer and Postify are both priced for small teams, but they spend their effort in different places. Publer goes wide on networks and posting automation and charges per connected account. Postify adds a comment and DM inbox with automations from its Plus plan, and puts analytics and its MCP server on every plan.

Postify or Publer: which one fits you
Choose Publer if
- Creators and very small budgets: Publer has a free-forever plan, and paid plans start at $5 per month for one social account.
- People who automate their posting: recycling, recurring posts, RSS, Spintax, auto-delete, watermarks and CSV uploads of up to 500 posts are built in.
- Brands on Telegram, Mastodon, Bluesky, Google Business Profile or WordPress, or that post LinkedIn PDF documents. Postify supports none of these.
- YouTube channels that upload long-form videos as well as Shorts.
Choose Postify if
- Teams that answer comments and DMs from their scheduler: Postify's inbox (Plus and above) covers Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube, while Publer has no inbox yet.
- Instagram and Facebook accounts that grow through comment-to-DM automations (Plus and above).
- People who want analytics or an MCP server below a business tier: Postify includes insights and its MCP server on every plan, Publer puts both on Business.
- Teams that work in a language beyond Publer's six (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Albanian): Postify's app is available in 39.
Worth knowing about Publer: Publer started as a side project in Tirana, Albania in 2012 and still prices by connected account, so one creator and a 30-account agency pay very different amounts. On September 28, 2026 it launched an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude on its Business plan, so Publer and Postify now both let your own AI assistant work with your calendar.
Two price lists that are hard to compare
Publer charges per social account and per extra team member. Its help center puts Professional at $5 per month for one account and Business at $10, with 20% off for yearly billing and every 10th account or member free. Prices exclude VAT, Publer shows them in the visitor's local currency, and Enterprise is a custom yearly quote.
Postify sells fixed plans, billed in euros. Hobby is €9.99 per month for one brand profile, one user and 15 posts per month. A brand profile holds one account on each network, so a brand on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn counts once. The top plan, Agency, is €199.94 per month with 15 brand profiles and 12 users.
One brand on one network costs very little on Publer. The comparison shifts once a brand spans several networks, or once you need analytics, which Publer keeps on Business. Price your own mix of accounts and members before deciding.
The inbox gap
Publer has no social inbox today. Its public roadmap lists a first version of Kibo, a standalone inbox product to be integrated later. Its AI Assist can draft replies to comments.
The Postify inbox is a Plus-plan feature. It brings comments from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube and DMs from Facebook and Instagram into one place. Automations cover comment-to-DM, DM keyword replies, comment auto-replies and welcome messages, with 3 active on Plus, 10 on Pro and no limit on Agency.
The Postify inbox has limits too: nothing for TikTok, X or Pinterest, and no saved replies, assignment or labels.
Networks and formats
Publer reaches further: besides the major networks it publishes to Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile and WordPress, and to Facebook Groups and personal profiles through phone reminders. It handles long-form YouTube and LinkedIn PDF documents. X is limited to paid plans.
Postify publishes to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, plus Plative, Postify's own network, on every plan. Video length is capped: 180 seconds on YouTube, 90 on Facebook.
On Instagram, Publer auto-publishes Stories for Business accounts and uses reminders for Creator accounts and multi-item Stories, and its carousels cannot include videos yet. Postify sends Instagram Stories and mixed photo-and-video carousels straight to Instagram. Both show a feed preview for Instagram and TikTok before you post.
Automation or hands-on scheduling
Publer is the stronger tool for posting on autopilot. Recycling, recurring posts, RSS feeds, Spintax variations, auto-delete, watermarks and CSV uploads of up to 500 posts cover most ways of filling a calendar without touching each post. It also has a photo and video editor, Canva and Zapier.
Postify has none of those. Its composer is built around writing one post with a separate caption per network, mapping @mentions across networks and checking the preview for each. Pro and Agency can send one post to many brand profiles with caption variants and staggered times.
AI and assistants
Publer's AI Assist writes text, creates images and drafts replies, with brand voices, and is unlimited on Business. On September 28, 2026 Publer added an MCP server so ChatGPT and Claude can read your calendar and analytics and schedule posts, also on Business.
Postify does not write posts for you. Its MCP server is listed on every plan, Hobby included, and gives your assistant tools to create and edit posts, read post and profile insights, manage media, work the inbox (Plus and above) and edit your Postify Link page.
Migration checklist
- Move your upcoming posts before you downgrade. If a paid Publer plan drops to Free, Publer deletes all scheduled posts after a 24-hour grace period.
- Copy your queue out by hand. Publer's help center does not describe a CSV export of scheduled posts, and Postify has no import tool, so you rebuild the next few weeks in the Postify composer.
- Download the analytics you want to keep as PDF or Excel/CSV, including competitor and hashtag views. Postify cannot import Publer's history.
- Use Publer's refund window if it applies: web payments are refundable in full within 14 days, and pro-rated after that with the yearly discount waived. App Store and Google Play purchases follow the store's rules.
- Keep a tool for Telegram, Mastodon, Bluesky, Google Business Profile or WordPress if you post there, and trim YouTube videos longer than 180 seconds before scheduling them in Postify.
- Know that you can return: Publer says leaving and coming back restores your old pricing and currency.
