The best Publer alternatives in 2026
Publer is hard to beat on price for one or two accounts, so saving money is unlikely to be why you are looking. More likely you need an inbox, analytics below the Business plan, or an interface in your own language. Here is how Postify and four other tools cover those gaps.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
TL;DR: If you need to answer comments and DMs from your scheduler, Postify (Plus and above) fills Publer's biggest gap. If you only want cheaper or broader publishing, Publer is probably still the right tool.

Postify or Publer: which one fits you
Choose Publer if
- Creators and very small budgets: Publer has a free-forever plan, and paid plans start at $5 per month for one social account.
- People who automate their posting: recycling, recurring posts, RSS, Spintax, auto-delete, watermarks and CSV uploads of up to 500 posts are built in.
- Brands on Telegram, Mastodon, Bluesky, Google Business Profile or WordPress, or that post LinkedIn PDF documents. Postify supports none of these.
- YouTube channels that upload long-form videos as well as Shorts.
Choose Postify if
- Teams that answer comments and DMs from their scheduler: Postify's inbox (Plus and above) covers Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube, while Publer has no inbox yet.
- Instagram and Facebook accounts that grow through comment-to-DM automations (Plus and above).
- People who want analytics or an MCP server below a business tier: Postify includes insights and its MCP server on every plan, Publer puts both on Business.
- Teams that work in a language beyond Publer's six (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Albanian): Postify's app is available in 39.
Worth knowing about Publer: Publer started as a side project in Tirana, Albania in 2012 and still prices by connected account, so one creator and a 30-account agency pay very different amounts. On September 28, 2026 it launched an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude on its Business plan, so Publer and Postify now both let your own AI assistant work with your calendar.
Where Publer users hit a wall
The biggest one is the inbox: Publer has none, and Kibo is still a separate early product. The second is plan gating. Analytics, unlimited AI prompts, recycling, approvals, the API and the MCP server all sit on Business, so needing any one of them means moving to Business.
The Free plan excludes X, caps scheduled posts at 10 per account and keeps 24 hours of post history. Every plan has daily posting limits per profile, lifted only on Enterprise.
On Trustpilot, reviewers mostly praise Publer's ease of use, clean interface and value. The complaints that do come up are wanting the API and analytics on Professional, occasional publishing outages, and Facebook reach figures that are hard to match with Facebook's own numbers.
What Postify gives a Publer user
An inbox from the Plus plan, with comments from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube, DMs from Facebook and Instagram, and comment-to-DM automations for Instagram and Facebook campaigns.
Analytics on every plan, with history from 90 days on Hobby to 732 days on Agency, PDF reports and scheduled email reports. The MCP server is listed on every plan, so your AI assistant can work with your account from the entry plan.
An interface in 39 languages instead of six, Instagram Stories and mixed photo-and-video carousels published without reminders, and iOS widgets for upcoming posts and stats.
Where Postify is a step back
Postify has paid plans only, and the €9.99 Hobby plan is small: one brand profile, one user, 15 posts per month, and no inbox. Publer's per-account pricing is built for the single-account case, so check the numbers for your setup.
Postify publishes to fewer networks (no Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile or WordPress), caps YouTube at 180 seconds and has no LinkedIn documents. It has no recycling, recurring posts, RSS, CSV upload, built-in AI writer, Canva, Zapier or public API.
Planning the move
Do not cancel to Free while posts are still queued: Publer deletes scheduled posts 24 hours after a paid plan drops to Free. Rebuild what you need in Postify first, then cancel.
Publer refunds web payments in full within 14 days and pro-rated after that, minus the yearly discount. Postify has no import tool, so download Publer analytics as PDF or Excel/CSV before you go.
Other Publer alternatives worth considering
Postify is our product, so weigh this list accordingly. Depending on your workload, these tools also deserve a look:
- Buffer if you want a free plan with 3 channels and an API and MCP server that work even on Free.
- Metricool if analytics is why you would pay for Publer Business: it reports on organic social, your website and Facebook, Google and TikTok Ads, with a permanent free plan.
- Postiz if you want open-source software you can self-host for free, with a public API, webhooks and an MCP server on paid plans.
- Agorapulse if the inbox is the main reason you are leaving: moderation rules, bulk inbox actions and ad comment moderation are its focus.
Migration checklist
- Move your upcoming posts before you downgrade. If a paid Publer plan drops to Free, Publer deletes all scheduled posts after a 24-hour grace period.
- Copy your queue out by hand. Publer's help center does not describe a CSV export of scheduled posts, and Postify has no import tool, so you rebuild the next few weeks in the Postify composer.
- Download the analytics you want to keep as PDF or Excel/CSV, including competitor and hashtag views. Postify cannot import Publer's history.
- Use Publer's refund window if it applies: web payments are refundable in full within 14 days, and pro-rated after that with the yearly discount waived. App Store and Google Play purchases follow the store's rules.
- Keep a tool for Telegram, Mastodon, Bluesky, Google Business Profile or WordPress if you post there, and trim YouTube videos longer than 180 seconds before scheduling them in Postify.
- Know that you can return: Publer says leaving and coming back restores your old pricing and currency.
