- Cut to 140 seconds or less and the video posts from any account. Past that you are relying on a subscription rather than on the platform.
- The timeline crops images to 16:9 until someone taps, so keep the subject in the middle of the frame rather than at the top or the bottom.
- Four images per post is the maximum, and they are laid out as a grid of crops, so anything with text in it needs checking at that size.
- Vertical or square video takes up far more of the timeline than 16:9 does, and it costs nothing to export that way.
- Convert animated content to MP4 rather than GIF. It is smaller, it loops the same way, and the 15 MB GIF ceiling stops being a problem.
