Zoho Social alternatives for teams that outgrew one brand
Zoho Social has a free plan and low entry prices, so saving money is rarely the reason to leave it. The plan structure is more likely to pinch: one brand per plan below Agency, one team member below Premium, and features such as link in bio that it does not list. Here is how Postify and a few other tools handle those points.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
TL;DR: Postify fits Zoho Social users who now run several brands with a small team and want link in bio and MCP access included. If you mainly want something free or priced per account, Buffer or Publer stay closer to Zoho Social.

Postify or Zoho Social: which one fits you
Choose Zoho Social if
- Solo users and small businesses that want a free or low-cost scheduler: Zoho Social has a forever-free plan and Standard from $10 (EUR 10) per month billed yearly, with regional prices.
- Companies already on Zoho CRM or Zoho Desk, which Zoho Social connects to on Premium.
- Brands that publish to Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile or Snapchat, or answer WhatsApp and Telegram Business messages from the same inbox.
- Teams that want bulk scheduling, repeat posting and RSS feeds, which Zoho Social includes from Professional.
Choose Postify if
- Small teams that need a second or third person before paying for collaboration: Postify Starter has 2 users and Plus has 3, while Zoho Social Standard and Professional include 1 team member.
- People handling several brands: Postify Plus includes 3 brand profiles and Pro 6, while Zoho Social plans below Agency include 1 brand and charge for add-on brands.
- Creators and shops that want a link-in-bio page with click analytics, included as Postify Link on every plan.
- Anyone who wants Claude, ChatGPT or a custom agent to create, schedule and analyze posts through a documented MCP server.
Worth knowing about Zoho Social: Zoho Social combines a forever-free plan, low entry prices set by region and a long network list that includes Bluesky, Mastodon and Google Business Profile. Its public changelog shows dated releases nearly every month through August 2026, and for a business already running on Zoho, the CRM and Desk connections are a real reason to stay.
Where Zoho Social starts to pinch
Each Zoho Social plan below Agency covers one brand with one profile per network. A second Instagram account or a second client means an add-on brand, at $17 per month on Professional or $23 on Premium when billed monthly.
Collaboration is tied to Premium. Standard and Professional include 1 team member; approvals, the full inbox and custom roles start at Premium, which includes 3. Further members cost $12 per month each when billed monthly.
Some features are not listed on Zoho Social's pricing page at all, including link in bio and a public API.
How Postify handles the same needs
Brands are bundled into the plans: Plus includes 3 brand profiles, Pro 6 and Agency 15, each holding one account per network. Users scale alongside them, from 2 on Starter to 12 on Agency, and from Starter up you can add seats.
Every plan includes Postify Link, with blocks for links, latest posts and products and analytics for views and clicks, plus the MCP server so your own AI assistant can create, schedule and analyze posts.
The inbox and comment automations, such as sending a DM when a comment contains a keyword, start at Plus. They cover comments on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube and Plative, and DMs on Facebook, Instagram and Plative.
What you would give up
A free tier. Postify has no free plan; the entry plan, Hobby, is €9.99 per month and covers 1 brand profile, 1 user and 15 posts per month.
Networks. Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile, Snapchat and Arattai publishing, and WhatsApp and Telegram Business messaging, have no equivalent in Postify.
Scheduling automation and the Zoho suite. Bulk scheduling, repeat posting, RSS feeds, Zia AI and the Zoho CRM and Desk connections do not exist in Postify, which also has no public API or Zapier.
Switching costs
Zoho Social does not lock you in: monthly billing is available, the pricing page says you can switch plans at any time, and its FAQ says refunds can be requested by emailing payments@zohocorp.com.
Getting posts out is easier on Premium, which offers bulk CSV export of posts. On Standard and Professional no bulk export is listed, so plan to copy upcoming posts by hand. Postify has no import tool either, so the rebuild happens in its calendar.
Other Zoho Social alternatives worth considering
Postify is our product, so weigh this list accordingly. Depending on your workload, these tools also deserve a look:
- Publer if you want a free plan and low per-account pricing, with recurring posts, RSS, and Telegram and Mastodon publishing.
- Buffer if you want a free plan with 3 channels, simple per-channel pricing after that, and an API plus MCP server on every plan.
- Metricool if you want a free plan, EUR pricing and 5 brands on the entry paid plan, with organic and paid analytics in one place.
- SocialPilot if you run client accounts and want CSV bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts, white label below enterprise level and local-currency pricing.
Migration checklist
- Export what you need while you still have Premium access. Export Posts there saves single posts as PDF or PNG and filtered posts in bulk as CSV; below Premium, Zoho lists no bulk export.
- Zoho Social has no long-term contract and offers monthly billing. Its pricing FAQ says refunds can be requested by writing to payments@zohocorp.com and does not state further conditions, so ask before your next renewal.
- Map each Zoho brand to one Postify brand profile. Both tools hold one account per network inside a brand, so the structure carries over one to one.
- Recreate repeat posts, RSS-driven posts and queued content manually. Postify has no recurring posts, RSS or CSV import, so schedule upcoming posts directly in the calendar.
- Keep another route for Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile, Snapchat, WhatsApp or Telegram, and decide how social leads will reach your CRM, since Postify has no CRM integration or API.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a free Zoho Social alternative?
- Buffer, Publer and Metricool all publish free plans, each with its own channel and post limits. Postify does not have a free plan.
- Which alternative includes several brands in one plan?
- Postify includes 3 brand profiles on Plus, 6 on Pro and 15 on Agency, and extra profiles can be added from Starter up. Metricool's entry paid plan covers 5 brands.
- What happens to my Zoho CRM connection if I leave Zoho Social?
- You lose the built-in link between social activity and Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk, which Zoho lists on Premium. Postify has no CRM integration, public API or Zapier connection, so social leads would need to be moved by hand.
- How do I export my posts from Zoho Social?
- On Premium, Export Posts saves individual posts as PDF or PNG and exports filtered posts in bulk as CSV. Since June 2026 Zoho also exports published, scheduled, draft and pending-approval posts as PDF. No bulk export is listed below Premium.
- Does Postify support Bluesky or Google Business Profile?
- No. Postify publishes to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, plus Plative, its own network. If Bluesky, Mastodon or Google Business Profile matter, keep a tool that covers them.
