Guide
Is there an app to manage all your social media in one place?
Yes, there are apps that run most of your social media from one screen, but no single app covers every network. This guide shows what one-app management really includes, which networks the main tools support, and how to set up several accounts, brands or clients step by step.

TL;DR: Yes. Management apps such as Postify, Buffer, Metricool and Planable publish to many networks from one place, and Meta Business Suite covers Facebook and Instagram for free. None supports every network: Postify covers nine (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest and Plative) but not Bluesky, Google Business Profile or Mastodon.
By the Postify team at Businice S.R.L. Postify makes this site, and this guide covers it alongside other options.
Is there an app to manage all social media?
Yes. Social media management apps such as Postify, Buffer, Metricool and Planable let you publish, reply and track results for many accounts from one place. None supports every network, so check yours first: Postify publishes to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest and Plative, but not Bluesky, Google Business Profile or Mastodon.
An "all in one" app does three jobs. Publishing: you write a post once and send it to several networks, now or on a schedule. Engagement: you read and answer comments and messages in one inbox instead of five apps. Reporting: you see what worked across every account without exporting numbers from each network by hand.
Most tools are strongest at publishing. Inboxes and analytics vary much more from tool to tool, so compare those closely if you answer a lot of comments or report results to a boss or a client.
The network list is the first filter. If you need Bluesky, Mastodon or Google Business Profile, Postify is the wrong pick and Buffer or Metricool will suit you better. If your audience is on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, Postify, Buffer, Metricool and Planable all cover you, and the choice comes down to the inbox, team features and price.
What "all in one" covers, and what it does not
No app covers every network or every task. Each scheduler publishes only to the networks it has built an integration for, and its inbox may cover fewer networks than publishing does. Some account types are excluded too: Instagram's official publishing API works with professional accounts, and Postify connects Facebook Pages rather than personal profiles.
The table lists the networks each vendor names on its own site. "Not listed" means we did not find it on the vendor's pages on the day we checked, not that it can never work.
A few limits apply whichever tool you pick:
- Instagram: publishing through Instagram's official API is for professional accounts (business or creator). Postify connects Instagram through Instagram Login, and photos, Reels, carousels and Stories publish directly.
- Facebook: Postify posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles. Buffer also lists Facebook groups.
- Inbox: in Postify, direct messages cover Facebook, Instagram and Plative, and comments cover Facebook, Instagram, Plative, LinkedIn, Threads, X and YouTube. TikTok and Pinterest are not in the inbox.
- Feeds: a management app is not a feed reader. Browsing your feed and following new accounts still happen in each network's own app.
- Free plans can shrink the list further: Metricool's free plan leaves out LinkedIn and X, and Publer's free plan leaves out X.

How to manage multiple social media accounts in one app
Map every brand and account first, then create one workspace per brand and connect its accounts to that workspace. Fill a posting queue with time slots, turn on a shared inbox for comments and messages, give teammates roles instead of passwords, and review analytics once a week. The same steps work in most management tools.
The steps below use Postify's names: a workspace for one brand is a profile, and it holds one account per platform. Buffer talks about channels, Metricool about brands and Planable about workspaces, but the setup follows the same order.
Steps
- List your brands and accounts. Write down every brand you run and every account each brand owns, network by network. Note who logs in to each account today, which Instagram accounts are business or creator accounts, and which networks matter most. The list shows quickly whether one tool covers everything or whether a network such as Bluesky needs its own app.
- Create one workspace per brand. In Postify, create a profile for each brand. A profile holds one account per platform, so a bakery and a gym run by the same person get separate profiles, calendars and analytics. Keeping brands apart stops a post from reaching the wrong audience and keeps reports clean when you share them with a client.
- Connect each account. Connect each network from inside the right profile and sign in with the account that owns it. Instagram connects through Instagram Login and needs a professional account, and Facebook connects the Pages you manage. Permission is granted on the network's own login screen, so you never hand your password to the tool or to a teammate.
- Set up a posting queue. Choose the days and times each profile should post. In Postify, the queue with time slots, evergreen recycling and recurring posts comes with Plus and above; on smaller plans you schedule each post on the calendar. Write one caption, adjust it per network where needed, and check the preview before anything goes live.
- Turn on the shared inbox. Route comments and messages into one inbox so nothing waits in an app nobody opened. In Postify the inbox starts on Plus, with direct messages from Facebook, Instagram and Plative, and comments from those plus LinkedIn, Threads, X and YouTube. Reply at set times each day rather than every time a notification arrives.
- Invite teammates with roles. Invite each person with their own login and a role that fits the job. Postify has Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, Billing and Guest roles, so access can match what each person does. When someone leaves, remove their seat; nobody has to change an Instagram password that the whole team once shared.
- Review analytics every week. Once a week, open each profile's analytics and compare posts by reach and engagement. Keep what works, drop what does not, and refill the queue for the next week in the same sitting. How much history you see depends on the plan, and Postify's best-time suggestions currently cover Instagram only.
Managing several brands or clients
Give each brand or client its own workspace so posts, inboxes and reports never mix. Check how many workspaces a plan includes before you buy: Postify's Hobby plan has one profile, higher plans include more, and extra profiles are add-ons from Starter. Client approval links, which let a client review and approve posts, start on Pro.
Agencies tend to hit two limits first: the number of workspaces and the number of seats. Postify sells extra profiles and extra users as add-ons from Starter, and the pricing page lists what each plan includes. Postify plans start at €9.99 a month, or €8.33 a month on yearly billing.
Postify has client approval links but no internal multi-step approval chain. If several people inside your team must sign off before a client sees a post, look at tools built around approvals, such as Planable, or compare the options in our guide to social media tools for agencies.
Whatever tool you choose, name workspaces after the client, not the network, and keep one person responsible for connecting and reconnecting each client's accounts, so an expired connection is noticed and fixed quickly.
Can I manage all my social media for free?
Partly. Meta Business Suite is free for Facebook and Instagram, and Buffer, Metricool, Planable and Publer have limited free plans with caps on channels or posts. Postify has no free plan; it starts at €9.99 a month. Free plans suit one small brand, while several brands or a team usually need a paid plan.
The free plans, as listed on 2026-10-22: Buffer allows up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel and one user. Metricool allows 1 brand and 20 scheduled posts a month, without LinkedIn or X. Planable gives you your first 50 posts free with no time limit. Publer allows 3 social accounts, not including X, with 10 scheduled posts per account.
Meta Business Suite is free on desktop and in its mobile app. It schedules Facebook and Instagram posts, stories and reels, and its inbox collects Facebook Page, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp Business messages. It does not publish anywhere else.
If you want to test Postify before paying, every plan comes with a free 7-day trial.
Our comparison of free social media schedulers goes through each free plan, plus the scheduling built into Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I manage multiple Instagram accounts from one app?
- Yes. Management tools publish to several Instagram accounts from one screen. In Postify each Instagram account sits in its own profile (one account per platform per profile), so three Instagram accounts mean three profiles. To publish through Instagram's official API, each account must be a professional account, either business or creator.
- Does connecting a scheduling tool put my account at risk?
- Connecting through the network's official login is the approved route: you grant specific permissions on the network's own screen, the tool never sees your password, and you can remove its access from the network's settings. Tools that ask for your password, or that automate likes and follows, are a different matter and can break platform rules.
- Can I reply to all my DMs in one inbox?
- Partly. Postify's inbox, from the Plus plan, collects direct messages from Facebook, Instagram and Plative, and comments from Facebook, Instagram, Plative, LinkedIn, Threads, X and YouTube. TikTok and Pinterest are not in it. Meta Business Suite's free inbox covers Facebook Page, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp Business messages.
- Can my team share access without sharing passwords?
- Yes. In a management tool each teammate gets their own login and a role, and the social accounts are connected once by their owner. Postify's roles are Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, Billing and Guest, and removing a person from the team removes their access without changing any network password.
- Is there one app that covers Bluesky and Instagram?
- Yes. Buffer and Metricool both list Bluesky alongside Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and more. Postify does not support Bluesky, Google Business Profile or Mastodon, so if those networks matter to you, pick a tool that lists them.
