Creators and consumer brands whose plan centers on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, and who want link in bio with affiliate links and email capture in the same tool.
Teams that publish to Snapchat (Spotlight and public Stories), which Postify does not support.
Brands that also run influencer or creator-affiliate programs and want them with the same vendor (Later Influence and Mavely, sold separately).

Worth knowing about Later: Later remains a strong pick for visual, Instagram-led planning. Its link in bio is on every plan, including the Free plan its help center describes, it offers notification publishing through its mobile app for Instagram and TikTok, and the Scale plan adds competitive benchmarking (up to 20 competitors) and Meta Ads analytics for boosted posts. If those matter more to you than X or Facebook Stories, Later is a reasonable place to stay.

Why people look for a Later alternative

The most concrete trigger is X. Later stopped X connections at the end of July 2025 and ended support on August 28, 2025, so any team that still posts to X needs a second tool next to Later.

Plan shape is another. Later Starter allows 1 user and 30 posts per profile per month, with no way to add users or sets. Approvals, the social inbox and a year of analytics start on Growth, and competitive benchmarking on Scale.

Some limits are product-wide: YouTube is Shorts only, LinkedIn PDF documents cannot be scheduled, and Threads, YouTube and Snapchat publish from desktop only. Postify shares the first two gaps, so they are not a reason to move to it.

What you gain and lose with Postify

You gain X publishing (including threads), Facebook Stories published directly, and an MCP server your own AI assistant can use. Postify Link replaces your link in bio on every plan, and the feed grid preview covers Instagram and TikTok.

You lose Snapchat, Later's Caption Writer, its creator-commerce tools (Mavely affiliate links and email capture) and the Scale plan's competitor benchmarking. Postify has none of these.

The plan shape changes too. Postify's entry plan at €9.99 per month (in euros) is 1 brand profile, 1 user and 15 posts per month, with no inbox. Posts are unlimited from the next plan up, and that plan can also add users.

How much work the switch takes

There is no direct path from Later into Postify. Later's help center shows no export of scheduled posts and Postify cannot import them, so you rebuild the posts that are still queued by hand.

Analytics history does not transfer either. Export Instagram analytics from Later as CSV before you cancel, because analytics above the Free-plan level disappear when the paid plan ends.

When staying with Later makes more sense

If your mix is Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat, and you never post to X, Later covers more of it than Postify does.

Later also fits if your link in bio earns money: affiliate links through Mavely and email capture are built in, and Postify Link has neither. If your brand runs influencer campaigns, Later Influence keeps that work with the same vendor.

Migration checklist

Before you cancel, export your Instagram analytics from Later as CSV (all paid plans; LinkedIn CSV is Scale only). Analytics above Free-plan level are removed as soon as the paid plan ends.
